2018 - 2023

I’ve wanted to write the story of the business (42) for a few months but I could never really find the time to sit down and reflect. Ironic I am starting to write this while the kids are getting ready for bed.

I never felt “ready” to share the story because I don’t think I had a story to share. I didn’t make 20M+ a year or run a global org. I didn’t have 200 employees and work with the likes of Google. But then more I reflect - the more I realize - more people *like* me need to share stories. There’s too many homogeneous people sharing the same homogeneous stories. Not as many brown immigrants from Pakistan who came to Canada for school end up building a somewhat decent business.

I don’t mean to brag even humbly - I don’t think we’ve *made* it by any stretch. If anything we are likely just getting started. But I think 5ish years in - there’s a lot of lessons learned and adventures along the way.

I will try and spend some time reflecting on each year we’ve been in business. Sharing numbers, mistakes and wins along the way.
